Art and photography

Goethe once said, ‘All the knowledge I possess everyone else can acquire, but my heart is all my own.’ And, for me, this is why photography plays such a huge part in my life. I believe that photography should bring us joy - should make us happy - and that we should be able to connect with it on an emotional as opposed to an intellectual level. Artists walk an interesting line between their intellect and their emotions in order to create their art. But I believe art is truly at its best when it is delivered from one heart to another.

I’ve created this collection of images with a slightly more painterly look in the hope that I can show that photography can indeed be seen as art. I do hope you enjoy them. Please click on the individual images to see a larger version.
